Day And Reason # 331...

Life is like a wrestling match
Except that your Supreme Booker Does NOT let you in on what will transpire before the match!
And the match is a no-time limit, no holds-barred free-for-all
without a referee in sight, oftentimes...!
Thankfully, I am a fan of those run-ins, Horsemen-style
and blatant outside interference!
So it should be fun!
;)
Try it yourselves - you'll see, you'll love it!

I was reminded that run-ins are both a Horsemen tradition as a true tradition instilled in recent years by the ''Russo era''...

Russo, Vince Russo.
He was a scribe for both the WWE and WCW and, while emulating the gang mentality of the Horsemen (complete with frequent and blatant outside interference during a bout) he truly made modern wrestling fans EXPECT the run-in; someone from the loceker-room area or even from the crowd running into the squared circle during a match and interfering in favor of one of the two combatants...

Vince Russo has been despised by many - but not by me!

Russo has since converted to Christianity and no longer writes for wrestling.

V.R. followed a now long-standing tradition of its own of grapplers turning to God! :)

Former Horseman Tully Blanchard is a reverend now.

So are Horsemen rivals Nikita Koloff and Ted Dibiase.

Steve Borden aka Sting is a devout Christian.

Even Shawn Michaels aka HBK (the, uh, Heartbreak Kid...!) is!

The late Eddie Guerrero read the Bible and quoted from it often to his fellow grapplers (brutish ones like Dave Batista and Brock Lesnar) backstage...

I'm sure others do too - probably Eddie's nephew, Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Amen to that! :)
